Reiki for Back Pain

Reiki for back pain is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes full body healing. Modern Reiki was created by Dr Mikao Usui in the early 1900s (date varies by source). Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. Reiki is described as spiritual healing, since the curative power is said to come from a higher power than ourselves.

The idea behind Reiki for back pain or any pain, is similar to many Asian healing arts. The proper qi / chi flow is important for the general health of a person. Reiki treatment seeks to balance the qi flow, so that the person is optimised for health. Reiki is performed by light touch and there is no medicine or manipulation involved in the treatment.

Around the body, there are seven layers of energy field called Aura. In the innermost layer, called inner Aura, are located seven major chakras. These chakras are energy centres. Each chakra is associated with an endocrine gland and governs the functioning of the endocrine glands and the organs associated with it. The energy is not the practitioner's energy but cosmic energy, which flows through the hands, is required to cure and not what the therapist decides is necessary. In disease, the chakras malfunction leading to imbalance in functioning of the associated organs and the endocrine gland. Depending on the affected chakra, patients reveal clinical symptoms. The Reiki healer beams the universal energy into chakra after scanning the same with his hand. The healing energy enters into the chakras, restoring the lost balance, thus healing the affected organ.

The healing energy can be beamed either in person or through absentee / distant healing, The powerful Reiki symbols can travel space, distance and time, thus enabling healers to heal patients from far off places. Reiki works on the principle that any physical disease has a metaphysical cause. Thus the Reiki removes the root cause of the disease.

I Degree attunement opening the crown, Ajna, Vishudha and Anahatha chakras, empowers the student to heal self and others. Self-healing after attunement raises the vibrations of life force energy, enables the body to channelise the healing energy & body gradually gets rid of negative energy.

II Degree attunement Students are initiated once again and are taught traditional and non-traditional symbols. Symbols are sacred tools that enhance the healing energy. Healing Karma, distant healing, non-healing use of symbols (energising machineries, establishment, Personality development, etc.) are taught. Opening third eye enhances the psychic power, which makes distant healing possible.

Grand master: - Attunement at this level creates a grandmaster who can create a master.
